Kinshasa, 22–23 September 2026 – Ebuteli, with the Africa Foresight Network (AFN), held the first national working group (GTN) on strategic foresight about the possible futures of the DRC.
For two days, members of the National Assembly, civil society actors, academics, women's organisations, influencers and representatives of institutions reflected on the country's current dynamics and on the futures they wish to see by 2040.
The work drew in particular on causal layered analysis and the “Three Horizons” method: what was declining, what was emerging, and what the DRC they hope for in 2040 could look like.
